December is here and so are all the winter holidays!
Holidays and traditions are a great way to engage your students and bring some variety and fun to your ESL students.
This year, I’ve made a completely digital Christmas scavenger hunt. This activity builds English skills as well as digital literacy and research skills. It was originally designed for high-schoolers but is appropriate for middle-schoolers and adults as well as long as they have access to the internet and basic computer skills. It can be done individually or in pairs.
Feel free to use all of my scavenger hunt, just a few questions, or let the idea inspire you to write your own original hunt.
Students can access the questions (without answers) here. The link to the student version also appears at the bottom of the teacher version with answers that you can download here or with the “Download” button below.
Happy holidays and happy hunting!
